CHEA recognizes 60 institutional and programmatic accrediting organizations, including the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, the regional accrediting agency by which Lindenwood University has been continuously accredited since 1921.

Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education

Athletic Training

Lindenwood University’s Athletic Training Program has been continuously accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education since 2003. The next regularly scheduled comprehensive review of the program will be in 2013.

Business and Entrepreneurship

Lindenwood University's course-based Business programs (including our daytime BA and evening MBA Plus programs) are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs accreditation. ACBSP is a specialized accreditation association for business education supporting, celebrating, and rewarding teaching excellence. “The association embraces the virtues of teaching excellence and believes that scholarly research and inquiry activities facilitate improved teaching.” This specialized accreditation is in addition to our current accreditation with Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Business Program (accelerated)

Lindenwood University's accelerated cluster-based Business programs in the Lindenwood College for Individualized Education are also accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs. The LCIE business programs are headquartered in the Lindenwood University Cultural Center, two blocks north of the main Lindenwood University campus in St. Charles, Mo., and offer classes at extension centers throughout the St. Louis Metropolitan area, from Belleville, Ill., to Wentzville, Mo. The LCIE business programs and Lindenwood’s School of Business and Entrepreneurship combine to make the second largest MBA degree program in Missouri and Kansas.
