The University Experience is one of the most profound engagements of a lifetime. Little can equal this period of several years, sequestered from the demands of daily life, in a nurturing environment where mentors and friends seek to enrich and deepen your scope. No other civilization has made this opportunity so broadly available. Fortunate are the students who have the wisdom, even in youth, to explore and avail themselves of the many possibilities placed before them. The Honors College is one such opportunity. The program encourages students to aim high that they may flourish in their careers, triumph over adversity, and live fulfilling and meaningful lives.
The Honors College at Lindenwood University offers academic distinction to top performing students. Augmenting the academic program, the Honors College annually presents students and faculty discussion sessions analyzing current events and perennial issues. Such occasions stimulate camaraderie and intellectual curiosity among students and faculty alike.
