English Language Placement Testing

Upon arrival to the university, all undergraduate and graduate international students are required take an English language placement exam before finalizing their academic schedules.

This test is taken during orientation, prior to the start of each academic term. The exam is administered by the university’s International Office (for Undergraduates) and by the School of Business and Entrepreneurship (for graduate students).

Based on placement exam scores, students will either: (1) enter directly into their academic program or (2) enroll in English language courses either in conjunction with or prior to their degree program.

Note: International students’ course schedules will not be finalized before taking the English language placement exam

Graduate MBA Students:
International graduate students are also required to take a business concepts diagnostic exam. This exam is also taken during orientation and is administered by the School of Business and Entrepreneurship. The exam scores are used to determine whether students must complete program prerequisite courses before enrolling in core business courses.
