National Outdoor Leadership School

NOLS Semester

Lindenwood University has an affiliate agreement with the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS). This agreement allows students to enroll in 12-15 credit hours through the Recreation Administration department at Lindenwood while completing a semester with NOLS. Students are also able to use appropriate financial aid to help pay for the NOLS semester course. Please note that financial aid will only cover a portion of the cost.

Students will be enrolled in the following courses through the Department of Recreation Administration:

If a student enrolls in the NOLS semester which includes the Wilderness First Responder certification, students may enroll in REC 29200 Wilderness First Responder for an additional 3 credits. Credit hours completed through the NOLS semester can be applied to the Recreation Administration Outdoor Recreation emphasis, Outdoor Leadership minor, or electives in general recreation.
