Darren Marhanka
is the head
coach of
Lindenwood's
first-year
cycling program.
Marhanka brought
cycling to the
St. Charles
campus last year
as a club sport,
and played a
vital role in
getting the
sport elevated
to a varsity
sport.
Marhanka has
been an
Assistant
Professor of
Criminal Justice
at Lindenwood
since 2004.
Prior to that,
he served as a
police officer
in North County.
Marhanka has
been an avid
amateur cyclist
for over ten
years and has
experience
competing at the
local level.
Assistant Coach:
Nicholas
Glimsdahl
Nicholas
Glimsdahl comes
to Lindenwood as
the assistant
cycling coach.
Glimsdahl was a
five-time
National
Champion Cross
Country runner
with Minot State
and Virginia
Intermont. He
has past
experience
training,
competing, and
developing sport
programs at the
collegiate
level.
Glimsdahl is
currently
pursuing his MBA
in Sports
Management at
Lindenwood.
