Head Coach: Jack Cribbin (3rd Season)

Jack Cribbin enters his third season at the helm of the Lindenwood University women’s lacrosse program. Last season he led the Lion’s to their second ever appearance in the WDIA National Tournament in addition to winning the schools first ever game at the National Tournament when the team beat the University of Pittsburgh in a one goal thriller. The team also garnered their second CPWLL Conference Title in the last three years. In addition, the team had two players named to the WDIA All American team and five on the All Academic team for the first time in school history. The Lion’s placed three players on the CPWLL First Team All-League squad, and one on the Second Team All-League squad. Five others made the All-Division Team, and one player was named the Lindenwood Female Scholar Athlete of the Year for the second time in two years. This past July, Cribbin served as head coach for Team America Blue for the 2007 Prague Lacrosse Cup in Prague, Czech Republic-an international women’s lacrosse tournament. The team finished sixth out of thirteen teams.

In 2006, his first season as head coach, he guided the Lion’s to a 13-6 record, a CPWLL East title, and a trip to the conference finals. In addition, Cribbin had seven student-athletes earn All-CPWLL recognition, including three on the First Team All-League squad, and one Lindenwood Female Athlete of the Year.

Away from the field, Cribbin's team has excelled in the classroom and the community. Team members are regular participants in the athletic departments annual St. Jude’s Research Hospital “Up Till Dawn” campaign. The campaign raises money for children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases.

One of the youngest head coaches in college lacrosse, Cribbin is native of St. Louis, Missouri. He attended high school at Christian Brothers College High School (CBC). After graduation he attended (Southwest) Missouri State University for one year, before transferring to Lindenwood.

Cribbin performed on the field for the Lindenwood men’s team from 2003-2005. During his playing career, he helped the Lion’s to win two Great Rivers Lacrosse Conference titles (2003, 2005), and a trip to the MDIA National Tournament in 2005. He was named to the GRLC All-Conference Team in 2004, and also spent two years as a captain. He was also a two year recipient of the “Heart of the Lion Award”, which is given annually to the Lindenwood lacrosse player who demonstrates the most commitment to the team. The award was renamed in his honor on April 17, 2005- Senior Night.

Under Cribbin’s tenure at Lindenwood, the team has played a truly national schedule, with trips to Colorado, Texas, Michigan, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and throughout the Midwest to play top-level opponents. He has built the team from a top-25 performer to a national contender after one year at the helm. He also has been able to establish himself as a great recruiter; bringing in talented student-athletes from Missouri, Illinois, Florida, Oklahoma, Ohio, Colorado, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, and even Canada.

In addition to coaching, Cribbin serves on the United States Lacrosse Women’s Division of Intercollegiate Associates Executive Council, The St. Louis Chapter of US Lacrosse Committee Board, and is a voter on the WDIA Top 25 National Poll.

Cribbin graduated from Lindenwood in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration, and in 2006 he completed his Master of Arts Degree in Corporate Communications at Lindenwood. He resides in St. Charles, Mo.
