Bill Vahle, assistant professor in Lindenwood’s School of Business and Entrepreneurship, is entering his fourth year of responsibility for the men’s and women’s tennis programs. 

A former basketball player and coach, he enjoys the challenge of guiding the tennis programs in the highly-competitive Region V of the NAIA. In 2007, he was named regional coach of the year after leading the women's team to a regional championship and a spot in the second-round of the NAIA Tournament. Last year, the men's team earned a berth in the National Tournament. Despite losing their No. 1 player due to an injury, the men's team still rallied to finish the year ranked 16th in the country.

Assistant Coach: Abdelkarim El Idrissi

Abdelkarim El Idrissi will be serving as assistant coach for the 2008-09 season.

El Idrissi played four years at Lindenwood and was No. 1 singles and doubles every season. Last year, he was undefeated until an arm injury forced him out of action. El Idrissi, an accomplished player and an accredited coach, won the USTA Open for the St. Louis District this past summer.
