Head Coach: Ted Greenhouse
Coach Greenhouse brings almost 20 years of experience as head coach of Lindenwood's water polo team.
At
Lindenwood,
Greenhouse has
been named a
two-time
National
Collegiate
Division III
Coach of the
Year. He has
also been the
conference Coach
of the Year the
last four
seasons.
Last season,
he led the men's
water polo team
to the first
national
championship for
the Lindenwood
aquatics
program.
Greenhouse also
helped the
women's team to
a conference
championship and
a spot in the
national
tournament.
Upon graduating from Westminster College with collegiate club All-American honors in swimming and diving, Coach Greenhouse went on to start DeSmet High School's swimming, diving and water polo program back in 1973. After spending a year with DeSmet, he moved on to Triton Junior College in Lake Forest, Illinois where he became the head coach for the swimming, diving and water polo teams.
After a successful stint with Triton, he moved back to the St. Louis area coaching Normandy High School's swimming, diving and water polo teams. He then would take a job with the United States Water Polo Age Group in St. Louis where he would coach until 1988.
He would then be hired to start a swimming, diving and water polo program at Lee's Summit High School in 1988. And in 1990, he joined the United States Water Polo Club where he continues to work today. He also finds time to be a referee and official for the Missouri State High School and NCAA swimming, diving and water polo matches.
