Therese Chavaux-Turnbull Therese Chavaux-Turnbull, PhD, LPC

Dr. Chavaux Turnbull earned a doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Family Therapy at Saint Louis University. She is a licensed counselor in the state of Missouri.  She has 22 years of experience in various clinical fields, including:  inpatient child and adolescent treatment, individual/marital/family outpatient counseling, substance abuse/family- codependency group therapy, intake/assessment director, crisis intervention, critical incident stress debriefing team (St. Louis Region) and as an employee assistance professional.  She is a member of the American Counseling Association, American College Counseling Association, American Counseling Association of Missouri, and Employee Assistance Professional Association. She has many years of experience in corporate training, organizational development, business and industry consultation and executive coaching. 

Ken KubicekKen Kubicek, PhD, LCPC

Dr. Ken Kubicek  received his PhD in Counseling & Family Therapy from St. Louis University.  He is a licensed clinical professional counselor in the state of Illinois.  His professional experience includes: high school math teacher, business manager, retreat house coordinator, counselor, and clinical supervisor.  He has been a staff member and co-director of the Illinois Teen Institute on Substance Abuse, a peer leadership and drug abuse prevention programs for teenagers.  He served on staff at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Illinois as the clinical supervisor in the Outpatient Mental Health and Counseling Program and the Employee Assistance Program.  He volunteers as a debriefer on the Memorial Hospital Critical Incident Stress Debriefing team.  He self-published a book titled “Recovering Alcoholics:  Why They Say They Are Successful.”

Sarah Patterson-Mills Sarah Patterson-Mills, PhD

Dr. Patterson-Mills received her PhD and Master’s Degrees in Counseling and Family Therapy from St. Louis University.  She is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Missouri and is a certified secondary professional school counselor.  Her 15 years of counseling experience spans the clinical and school counseling fields.  Clinically, she has worked in state and private mental hospitals, residential treatment centers, the clubhouse community model, outpatient therapy, and in private practice, working predominantly with children and families.  Within the school setting, she has worked as a professional school counselor and college campus therapist where she was part of a behavior intervention team.  She is currently serving as a member of the National Career Development Council Ethics Committee.  In addition, she is a member of the American Counseling Association, American College Counseling Association, Illinois Counseling Association, and Southwestern Illinois School Counseling Association.  Past research has included the study of attachment and family processes with respect to international adoption.  Currently, she has interests in online ethical decision making of therapists and work/study habits and trends with respect to generational cohort.
