#1 Making My Family Special
Come visit the Historic Daniel Boone Home and Boonesfield Village. Learn about Daniel and his family and the importance that was placed on family life. By participating in a tour Tiger Cub Scouts can make off Requirement 1G: Go to a library, historical society, museum, old farm, or historical building or visit an older person in your community. Discover how family life was the same and how it was different many years ago.

#4 Know Your Home and Community
The Daniel Boone Historic Site is part of the St. Charles County Community and qualifies for Requirement 4F: Visit an important place in your community, such as a historic or government location. Explain why it is important. Come visit the homestead of Daniel Boone and find out the important role he played in American and Missouri history.

#10 Family Fun

Pioneer Days: Come out and enjoy a pre-1840s folkways festival and living history encampment. Artisans, music, and a historic encampment make this a glorious day in the beautiful Femme Osage Valley. Step into the past to experience life on the early Missouri frontier and learn about the Boone legacy. This activity qualifies for Requirement 10F: Attend a concert, play, or other live program with your family. Pioneer Days is held the third weekend of September each year. $7 Adults $6 Senior Citizen (55 and Older) $4 Children (Ages 4-11) |
Candlelight Tours: Come visit the Daniel Boone Home and Boonesfield village for our Annual Candlelight Tours with your family. Be guided through candle lit paths and buildings while being entertained by vignettes depicting Christmas during the 1800s. This activity qualifies for Requirement 10F: Attend a concert, play, or other live program with your family. Candlelight Tours are held the first and second weekend of December each year. Candlelight Tour Prices $15 Adults $14 Senior Citizen (55 and older) $10 Children (Age 4-11) |
