Lindenwood’s MA in Sport Management is enhanced by the close cooperation with several sports organizations, companies and venues in the St. Charles/St. Louis area. These relationships enable students to gain first-hand knowledge and work experience in sport management. Upon completion of this program, Sport Management graduates develop both enhanced business skills and greater industry knowledge, setting Lindenwood graduates apart in the competitive field. The practicum that each student is required to complete prior to graduation has provided many students with networking contacts that have led to careers quickly after receiving their degree.
Lindenwood’s program is recognized by the North American Society for Sport Management. The program meets the NASSM course standards and is listed on the NASSM website as a recognized Sport Management Program. In addition to this achievement, Lindenwood’s Sport Management program has developed a reputation in the greater St. Louis area for producing successful young professionals throughout the industry.
"Choosing the Sport Management Program was one of the most beneficial decisions I made during my academic career. Because of Lindenwood University’s program and their contacts in the industry, I had the opportunity to do several internships that led to an outstanding position with the St. Louis Cardinals. What a great way to begin my career."
