SB&E - Undergraduate Degrees
The Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting requires the completion of the 36 credit hours of business core coursework listed in the Program Description section plus an additional total of 27 semester hours of coursework, for a total of 63 hours.
+ Bachelor of Arts in Business AdministrationThe required accounting courses in the major include ACCT 31020, ACCT 31021, ACCT 31040, ACCT 41080, ACCT 41050, ACCT 41030, and ACCT 41022. In addition, two of the following courses must be taken as accounting electives: ACCT 31012, MGMT 36062, ACCT 41031, ACCT 41060, ACCT 41055, ACCT 41091, ACCT 41070, and ACCT 41095. Accounting students aspiring to become CPAs will be required to obtain 150 hours of college credit to meet the Uniform CPA Exam qualifications. Students wishing to meet these requirements should consult with a faculty advisor to discuss the options that are available. The Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration requires the completion of the 36 credit hours of business core coursework listed in the Program Description section plus an additional 21 credit hours of business administration coursework for a total of 57 hours. At least 12 of the 21 credit hours of business administration coursework beyond the business core must come from BA courses at the 30000 level or above. All Business Administration degree candidates are required to take both MTH 13100 and 14100 in fulfillment of their General Education requirement.
+ Bachelor of Arts in EconomicsThe Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics requires the completion of the 36 credit hours of business core coursework listed in the Program Description section plus an additional total of 24 semester hours of coursework for a total of 60 hours. The required economics courses are ECON 313025, ECON 33040, ECON 33045, INTL 48040, and ECON 43078, plus 9 hours of economics electives. Elective courses include FIN 32013, ECON 33030, FIN 32010, INTL 48020, ECON 33055, ECON 43045, ECON 43091, FIN 42010, FIN 42091, PS 31500, PHL 39000, MTH 27100, and MTH 27200.
+ Bachelor of Arts in Entrepreneurial StudiesThe Bachelor of Arts degree in Entrepreneurial Studies requires the completion of the 36 credit hours of business core coursework listed in the Program Description section plus an additional total of 21 semester hours of coursework for a total of 57 hours.
+ Bachelor of Arts in FinanceA total of 21 semester hours of entrepreneurial studies courses and approved business courses must be completed beyond the business core course requirements listed in the Program Description section above. The required entrepreneurial studies courses to be taken are ENTR 47510, ENTR 37510, ENTR 47520, plus 12 credit hours of coursework selected from the following courses: ACCT 31012, HRM 36510, MRKT 35020, MRKT 35050, MRKT 35030, MGMT 36062, RTAIL 35535, ENTR 46095, INTL 48010, and INTL 38000. The Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance requires the completion of the 36 credit hours of business core coursework listed in the Program Description section plus an additional total of 21 semester hours of coursework for a total of 57 hours. The required finance courses are ECON 33025, FIN 32010, and FIN 32020, plus 12 hours of business electives numbered 30000 and above.
+ Bachelor of Arts in Human Resource ManagementFor those students interested in Corporate Finance, the recommended elective courses include ACCT 31020, ACCT 31021, ACCT 41050, FIN 42010, and ACCT 41070. For those students interested in Financial Services, the recommended elective courses are FIN 32030, FIN 32040, ACCT 41050, and FIN 42020. Other appropriate electives include FIN 32013, INTL 48020, ENTR 47510, FIN 42050, and FIN 42080. The Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Resource Management requires a total of 57 credit hours of coursework. The required courses for this degree are ACCT 21010, ACCT 21011, ECON 23010, ECON 23030, MGMT 36032, HRM 36500, HRM 36510, HRM 36520, HRM 36530, HRM 36540, HRM 36550, MRKT 35010, MGMT 36061, HRM 46599, COM 30300, plus twelve credit hours of elective coursework selected from any business BA course numbered 200 and above.
+ Bachelor of Arts in International BusinessThe Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business requires the completion of the 36 credit hours of business core coursework listed in the Program Description section plus an additional total of 24 semester hours of coursework, for a total of 60 hours.
+ Bachelor of Arts in MarketingThe required International Business courses to be taken include PS 30000, PS 35000,INTL 48010, INTL 38000, INTL 48032, INTL 48070 plus six credit hours of coursework selected from the following: ECON 33035, INTL 48020, INTL 48040, -or INTL 48060. The Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing requires the completion of the 36 credit hours of business core coursework listed in the Program Description section plus an additional total of 24 semester hours of coursework for a total of 60 hours.
+ Bachelor of Arts in Retail MerchandisingStudents majoring in Marketing must complete the following required courses: MRKT 35020, MRKT 35050, MRKT 35030, MRKT 35040, MRKT 45080, plus 9 credit hours of coursework selected from the following: RTAIL 15510, RTAIL 25520, RTAIL 35530, MGMT 36042, SPMGT 37050, RTAIL 35535, MRKT 45070, MRKT 45060, INTL 48010, RTAIL 45540, and SPMGT 37040. The Bachelor of Arts degree in Retail Merchandising requires the completion of the 36 credit hours of business core coursework listed in the Program Description section plus an additional total of 21 semester hours of coursework for a total of 57 hours.
+ Bachelor of Arts in Sports ManagementStudents majoring in Retail Merchandising must complete the following required courses: RTAIL 15510, RTAIL 25520, RTAIL 35530, MRKT 35050, MRKT 35040, RTAIL 35535, and RTAIL 45540. Lindenwood University offers a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sport Management. The degree requires a total of 67 credit hours of coursework. Students pursuing this degree must complete 27-30 hours of Business related coursework, 12-15 hours of Sport Management coursework, 3 hours in Communication coursework, 6 hours in Physical Education coursework as well as 15 elective hours in approved Business, Communication, and Physical Education related courses. The Bachelor of Arts in Sports Management requires completion of the following courses: ACCT 21010, ECON 23020, ECON 23030, MIS 24000, FIN 32000, ENTR 37510, MRKT 35010, SPMGT 37050, MGMT 36061, SPMGT 37060, SPMGT 27020, SPMGT 37040, SPMGT 47080, SPMGT 47095, COM 30300, PE 32000, and PE 34900.
