The Office of First~Year Programs is committed to providing new students with the support and resources needed to have a successful transition to Lindenwood University. The following students must attend the Transfer Experience:

    • All transfer students with 24+ transferable credits.
    • All transfer students with less than 24+ transferable credits who successfully completed a Freshmen Seminar course.

We recognize that you already familiar with a college or university environment. Therefore, we have designed a program - Transfer Experience - to meet your specific needs.

When is TE?
This event is held in January for Spring admits only. The TE date will be posted soon.

Do I have to attend?
Yes, all transfer students who meet the requirements as listed above are required to attend this program in its entirety. If you live more than 60 miles outside of Lindenwood University, then you are exempt from attending the TE.

When will I register for classes?

You will register for classes during the TE.

Can my parents/guardians attend?
There is not a separate program for Parents/Guardians to attend. They may attend the TE program with their student.

Do I have to register for TE?
Yes, you will receive additional information about the program soon and you must return the registration form as soon as possible.
