Lindenwood University Mass Communication students can choose their areas of interest to study ranging from several radio and television emphases to management and marketing to sports information and public relations. Lindenwood's radio and televisions stations are the learning labs for future broadcasters. Virtually all on-air talent, directors, producers, and writers are students.

Lindenwood's Corporate Communication students study broadly in organizational communication, written and oral communication, as well as such business disciplines as marketing, public relations and advertising. Their career choices are equally broad, ranging from corporate work in public and media relations to agency positions in public relations and advertising. They may also choose from a wealth of positions in sales and sales management.

Students wanting to learn sportscasting will hone their skills actually doing games. The Lindenwood Sports Network (radio and television) annually broadcasts dozens of college and high school sporting events from venues including the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis.

Most Lindenwood Communication's students serve internships in the St. Louis area, a market with major broadcasting, public relations, marketing, journalism, and corporate opportunities. This leads to invaluable experience and career networking - an opportunity not available at schools in smaller communities.
