Edward Voss earned his MA in Communications Management from Webster University as well as his BA in Radio, TV, and Film Production from the University of Missouri – Columbia. He served in the U.S. Navy were he was graduated from the Defense Information School, earning diplomas in their Broadcast and Journalism programs. Upon an Honorable Discharge he worked for Group W Cable, directing and producing a number of sports and community programs. Later he worked as a freelance production technician for Maritz Communications, Cardinals Baseball, KMOV, KDNL, Civic Center Corporation, The Federal Reserve Bank-St. Louis, Ameren, Video Nine, Rosenthal Productions and KETC Ch. 9 were he was Emmy nominated for his work on post production audio. Afterwards he was employed by KTVI FOX2 as an operations technician performing a number of tasks including live coverage of Pope John Paul II’s St. Louis visit, Rams Super Bowl victory parade, several presidential elections and coverage of Hurricane Katrina. Voss has taught video production at St. Louis Community College at Forrest Park. He works in the School of Communications as an Assistant Professor and Director of Operations of LUTV.
