Ever marvel at the attention getting power of mixing diet coke and Mentos? The Interactive Media & Web Design program at Lindenwood University provides creative and aspiring minds with the skills needed to mix visual elements in a far less messy and more useful fashion. Whether it be the marriage of video to a web interface, or the synchronization of audio to an animation; multimedia skills are in high demand and graduates are capable of finding a fit in a variety of employment opportunities. For the student who enjoys any combination of web design, animation, video, audio, interface design, 3D modeling, mobile application development, and/or computer graphics; this degree offers the skills necessary to turn an eclectic interest into a rewarding career.
If you are interested in learning more about our curriculum and degree requirements, you may want to investigate the following:
- Lindenwood Undergraduate Course Catalog -- The current course catalog is your comprehensive guide to information about Lindenwood. It lists all of the University’s degree programs and courses, along with the requirements for each major.
- Program Planning Guides -- Lindenwood makes available checklists (commonly called “bingo sheets”) that list all of your degree requirements in a way that allows you to keep track of where you stand in your progress toward graduation. Your personal bingo sheet should correspond to the LU Catalog of the year you first enrolled.
- The Office of Undergraduate Admissions -- The Admissions Office offers a number of opportunities to find out more about Lindenwood. An admissions counselor can answer your questions, guide you through the application process, and schedule your campus tour.
The faculty and current students in Lindenwood’s Interactive Media & Web Design Department are excited about what we have to offer, and we’re eager to share our excitement with prospective students. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to contact the IMWD Program Chair, Dr. Jason Dude Lively, at 636-949-4696.
