Educational and Professional Experience

Donna Northcott received her BA/Theatre from St. Louis University, MA/Theatre from Northwestern University, and studied Shakespearean Acting at LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art). While living in Chicago, Ms. Northcott interned in Artistic Administration at the Goodman Theatre, and was a freelance director, actor, set designer and costume designer. She is the Founding Artistic Director of St. Louis Shakespeare and Magic Smoking Monkey Theatre. She has directed over 100 productions - mostly classical - and has acted in nearly as many productions. She also works as a voiceover actor and directed and co-wrote the script for HOOCH & DADDY-O, an award-winning independent film.
