Thank you for considering Lindenwood University for your undergraduate athletic training education program. Lindenwood University offers a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE).
Lindenwood University is proud to provide students with an experienced and dedicated staff and experiences not available at most other programs. Our dynamic curriculum involves an extensive classroom education coupled with a strenuous clinical program. Athletic training students will observe and work alongside the staff with athletes from all over the world participating in more than 50 athletic programs at Lindenwood University. While developing their clinical skills, students will also have the opportunity to work with other health care professionals, including local physical therapists, exercise physiologists, physicians, surgeons, and chiropractors.
Lindenwood University currently has seven full-time staff members, 16 graduate assistants, and a program director who was recently elected into the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Hall of Fame. We believe this curriculum can provide more experiences, more one-on-one instruction, and more opportunities than any other program of its kind. The large staff has experience working with athletes at all levels of competition from high school, to professional sports, to the Olympics. These experiences are brought directly into the classroom to provide students with an education that focuses on theory as well as integration.
