Govind Hariharan is a professor in the Department of Economics, Finance, and Quantitative Analysis at Kennesaw State University and serves as executive director of Kennesaw's ICA Institute and associate director of its Econometric Center. His research areas include health economics and personal finance.
Dr. Hariharan's experience includes positions at the State University of New York at Buffalo and West Virginia University, and consulting for numerous organizations such as the World Bank, Council for Quality Growth, and M&T Bank. In addition, he has taught a range of courses around the globe, including in India, China, and Singapore. His scholarly publications include papers in the Journal of Health Economics, Journal of Risk and Uncertainty, Financial Services Review, and the Review of International Economics.
Dr. Hariharan received his MA in economics from the Delhi School of Economics (1984) and his PhD in economics from the State University of New York at Buffalo (1991).
