  • Monday, September 21, Annual Community Service Fair, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. An opportunity for local nonprofit agencies, social service agencies, churches, and governmental entities to promote viable, meaningful volunteer opportunities during the upcoming academic year to and for our students and employees. Hosted by Lindenwood's Nonprofit Administration program.  Information and registration instructions.
  • Tuesday, September 22, Welfare Policy Conference, Keynote Talk: "Politics, Policy, and Racial Polarization: How to Reverse the Trends of the Welfare State," Star Parker, Head of the Center for Urban Renewal and Education (CURE), syndicated columnist, Republican politician, author, and conservative political activist. 7 p.m., Lindenwood Theater, J. Scheidegger Center, St. Charles Campus. Hosted by the Center for Economics and the Environment.
  • Tuesday - Thursday, September 22-24, Nonprofit Leadership. Keynote Speaker (open to the public): Robert Lupton, author of Toxic Charity and Charity Detox, as well as founder of FCS Ministries, Tuesday, 5:30-6:15 p.m. with reception following, Lindenwood Theater, J. Scheidegger Center. Training, held on Wednesday and Thursday, is led by the Christian Community Development Association.  Co-hosted by the Liberty & Ethics Center and the Nonprofit Administration Program.
