Lindenwood University

Higher Learning Commission - Self Study

The Higher Learning Commission Self Study

Lindenwood University is undergoing a self-study process prescribed by the Higher Learning Commission, a Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.  The process will culminate with a site visit in October 2013.

Lindenwood University has been continuously accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools since 1921 and is pleased to undergo an evaluative process intended to lead to continued accreditation.

A Mission-Based Evaluation

For 186 years, Lindenwood University has been committed to offering values-centered programs leading to the development of the whole person — an educated, responsible citizen of a global community.  A crucial means of achieving this mission has been and will continue to be an honest and productive evaluation of criteria established by HLC, the agency responsible for accrediting higher education institutions in 19 Midwest states.

A Collaborative Effort

The University has undertaken a collaborative and comprehensive approach to the self-study process.  Key constituents include campus teams, the student government, the public at large, and the site visit team from HLC.
