Cochran Named Well Employee of the Quarter

LindenWell is proud to announce Dr. Vanessa Cochran as our Well Employee of the Quarter! Vanessa is an Assistant Professor and Department Chair in the School of Education. She has been chosen to receive this award for her ongoing dedication toward wellness and continuous journey towards heart health. Her honesty and commitment to sharing her journey is a true inspiration to the Lindenwood community.

From getting her first pacemaker at age 15 to being diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, and battling an eating disorder during her college years. Dr. Cochran has had her fair share of discouraging moments with her health. She does not let that stop her and continues to find what works for her body and her health. Now, she is on her 3rd pacemaker and living restriction free. Of course, working out and eating healthy are a huge part of her lifestyle, but finding her balance was the key. She stresses the importance of how unique each individual is and that the small steps you take make positive lifelong changes. It’s all about the journey and about listening to your body. Her recent move towards even further wellness was to give up soda, started working with a new nutritional coach and she has already noticed a drastic change in 3 short months. Thank you for inspiring the Lindenwood community with your story.

LindenWell would like to congratulate Vanessa on her dedication to wellness!
