The Nonprofit Administration Program (NPA) can lead to a meaningful career of helping others by leading and serving others. Students are educated to be nonprofit leaders and managers through service learning---learning by doing. Students are actively involved in nonprofit agencies, gaining understanding of the nonprofit world through a hands-on approach.
Spend time doing, observing and understanding: Students are required to work with actual community nonproftits during class projects and assignments.

Blood drives for the American Red Cross: Students may join The American Humanics Student Association, a student group linked with the NPA program that annually sponsors drives.

Awarded nonprofit agencies $100,000 through actual student grants: Grantwriting classes provide necessary skills to write successful grants.

Internships: Students can become actively involved in a variety of nonprofit organizations providing services to their community.

While involved in active doing, students learn the critical elements needed for the success of nonprofits:

Staffing
Budgeting
Organizing
Implementing
Evaluating
The nonprofit world has a vast need for degreed employees in such fields as:
