CIGS - Study Abroad Opportunities

The Center for International and Global Studies seeks to illustrate Lindenwood’s international commitment in its people, its pursuits, and its programs. One way in which Lindenwood fulfills this mission is via varied and unique study abroad opportunities.

For this summer, June 13th – July 3rd, 2009, Lindenwood University will be partnering with the Azerbaijani NATO Summer School Program. This opportunity is open to upperclassman in the fields of international studies, political science or international business (other majors may apply). On this excursion, students will have one week of intensive classroom training taught by NATO diplomats on crisis management and conflict resolution, one week of lectures on the political and religious history of Azerbaijan, taught by local faculty and government officials and one week of historical and cultural tours lead by university and Azerbaijani government staff.

Spaces are limited. So, please fill out and submit the Baku, 2009 Study Abroad Application to the Excursion Organizer, Ryan Guffey, by March 9th, 2009 to solidify your reservation.
