The Mary E. Ambler Archives

The Mary E. Ambler Archives is responsible for the identification, acquisition, organization, and preservation of Lindenwood's unique or rare collections of archival, manuscript, and printed items, and for making these special collections available to patrons for research and study. Among some of the items in the collection are:
- Books that belonged to George and Mary Sibley
- Transcripts of a large portion of the Sibley diaries and correspondence
- Information about past presidents and students of the university
- Lindenwood yearbooks, photographs, and memorabilia
- The personal library of U.S. Senator James A. Reed
The McKissack Collection is a series of books about African-American children, presented to Butler Library by Patricia and Fredrick McKissack. For further information please consult the following website:
