Pooja K. Agarwal, PhD

Pooja K. Agarwal, PhD, is a public servant dedicated to bridging the gaps between learning, teaching, research, and policy. For 13 years at Washington University in St. Louis, Pooja conducted learning and memory research at local middle and high schools, and frequently disseminated learning research to students and educators nationally. She also served as Illinois’ Director of K-12 Assessment, responsible for the development and administration of standardized tests for 2 million students, statewide education policy decisions, and the drafting of Illinois' No Child Left Behind Waiver Application. Pooja has teaching experience at elementary, middle, high school, and university levels, policy experience at the U.S. Department of Education and The College Board, and nonprofit experience in advancing collaborations among learning scientists and learning practitioners.

Evelyn K. Hendrix, PsyD

Evelyn K Hendrix, PsyD, is a faculty instructor and academic advisor at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri. Evelyn’s academic achievements include a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Psychology, Master of Arts (MA) Degree in Industrial Psychology, Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree, and Doctoral Degree in Applied Organizational Psychology (PsyD). She earned the Senior Professional in Human Resources certification (highest level). Evelyn has more than 20 years of work experience in I/O Psychology and Human Resource Management, with Organizational Development/HR roles for Fortune 100 companies. Conference participants will enjoy Evelyn’s candid and dynamic style.
