Forum to address critical education issues
December 4, 2001 The River's Edge Policy Institute at Lindenwood University will host a forum December 10 titled "Critical Issues in Education." Leaders from across state government and higher education will discuss character development in teacher education, the roles of federal, state and local government in education, the expanding role of the Missouri Coordinating Board for Higher Education and a new approach to student financial assistance. Speakers include Lindenwood University President Dennis Spellmann, Senator Ted House and Representative Carl Bearden.
