The House of York has just won The War of the Roses and now occupies the throne of England. But peace doesn’t suit Richard, the hunchback of Gloucester and brother to the new king. Only a few obstacles stand between him and the crown. Witness the intrigue, deception, seduction, and betrayal perpetrated by one of Shakespeare’s most frightening and gleeful sociopaths, Richard III.

The director of the production is Ted Gregory. The stage manager is Danielle Lorenz. The student director is Michael B. Perkins. MFA acting candidate Jerry Vogel will portray Richard. Vogel has worked throughout the country as a professional actor, including theatres such as the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, Stages, The Lyceum Theatre, The Shakespeare Festival of St. Louis, the Great Lakes Shakespeare Festival, and numerous other professional theatre companies.

The cast also includes Brad Lewandowski, Jamie Fritz, Brian Kappler, Mike Lara, Becca Helms, Kelly McCarthy, Emily Richman, David Burk, Stephen Heffernan, Margaret Murphy, Andrea Luetzeler, Hassie Davis, Keith Williams, James Lewis, Christopher Wilson, Kim Wibbenmeyer, J.R. Strzelec, Michael Juncal, Tom Lehmann, Lyndsay Cook, Roberth Mitchell and Elizabeth Bowman. The set, lighting, and sound designs are by MFA Design candidate Phillip Hughen. The costume design is by Cynda Galikin. The properties mistress is Shauna Staryak.
