Panel Discussion on Financial Crisis Today

October 20, 2008

The Lindenwood School of Business and the Institute for the Study of Economics and the Environment will hold a panel discussion of the current economic crisis at 3 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 20, in the Anheuser-Busch Leadership Room of the Spellmann Center.

The program, called “Understanding the 2008 Financial Crisis,” will include panelists from the Lindenwood faculty and experts from the banking and finance industries.

Panelists include Edward Morris, dean of the School of Business and Entrepreneuriship; Charles T. Forrest, senior vice president of the investment bank Stern Brothers and Co.; Scott M. Colbert, director of fixed income management and chairman of the fixed income strategy committee at Commerce Trust Company; James Boyd, finance program manager at Lindenwood; Anthony Clark, right, director of Lindenwood’s Institute for the Study of Economics and the Environment; and Thomas Fuhrmann, professor of accounting at Lindenwood.

The program is free and open to the public.
