Bladdick Named CAO and Vice President of Belleville Campus

Lindenwood University has announced the hiring of Jerry Bladdick as chief administrative officer and vice president for the university’s Belleville campus. The appointment coincides with the launch this fall of a daytime, semester-based program at the Belleville campus.

Bladdick, who has 20 years of experience in higher education administration, was most recently associate vice president for graduate, adult and continuing education at Fontbonne University, a position he has held since 2002. He had served as director of admissions for undergraduate and graduate programs at Lindenwood from 1987 to 1994.

“I am pleased to once again be associated with Lindenwood University,” Bladdick said. “I am very excited about working in Belleville and St. Clair Co., Ill. Both communities can expect to see a great deal of me as I make every effort to meet community leaders, business leaders and future Lindenwood students.”

Lindenwood has operated its Belleville campus since 2003 as a major site for its accelerated evening programs and will launch a daytime, semester-based program for undergraduates this fall. Enrollment is going on now for the fall semester.

“I am looking forward to meeting the higher education needs of St. Clair County and learning how Lindenwood University of Belleville can partner with other institutions and local businesses to meet those needs,” Bladdick said.

“We are extremely fortunate and pleased to have a seasoned educator of Jerry Bladdick’s stature at the helm of our rapidly growing Belleville branch. He and his administrative team will advance both our day and our evening colleges in Belleville from very strong to exceptional,” said Lindenwood President James D. Evans, Ph.D.

Lindenwood University, founded in 1827, is an independent liberal arts university offering 84 undergraduate degree programs and 37 graduate programs in diverse areas of study¬ in both traditional and accelerated formats.
