Lindenwood’s J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts Announces 2013-2014 season of performances

Lindenwood’s J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts announces its 2013-2014 season lineup, its sixth season since the $32 million performing arts center opened.
The Bezemes Family Theater Main Stage Season consists of 15 touring performances and two academic performances presented by the Lindenwood University Department of Theatre.
The touring performances include Martin Short, Debbie Boone and the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, Lynn Anderson, Frankie Avalon, The Lettermen, The Lennon Sisters, Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis, Jr., The Moscow Festival Ballet performing Giselle, the Haifa Symphony Orchestra of Israel, Celtic Nights, Peter Nero, Deana Martin, The Addams Family: The National Tour, MEMPHIS: The National Tour, and Wayne Newton.
The two academic productions include the annual presentation of A Christmas Carol and the spring musical Into the Woods.
The J. Scheidegger Center also features multiple music series, dance concerts, art exhibits, and several community events throughout each season.
Season tickets go on sale July 15, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at the Box Office and online at www.lindenwoodcenter.com. There will be a special one-week online presale for individual ticket purchases beginning at 10:00 a.m. on July 29, and individual tickets will become available at the Box Office at 10:00 a.m. on August 5.
The Box Office is located in Lindenwood’s J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts, at 2300 West Clay St., just west of First Capitol Drive in St. Charles.
