02.04.2016Adjunct Invited to Help PhD Students with Dissertations in U.K., Will Also Speak in D.C.
Richard Anderson, a Lindenwood University adjunct instructor and senior research fellow for the John W. Hammond Institute for Free Enterprise, will visit Birmingham, England, the week of April 18 to help PhD students with their dissertations.

01.29.2016Nursing to Merge with Exercise Science to Form New School
With an eye toward the future, Lindenwood University’s School of Sport, Recreation, and Exercise Science will merge this summer with the School of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences. The two schools, along with the Fire and Paramedic Science Program, will form the new School of Health Sciences.

01.29.2016Morris to Speak in New York on Wall Street Book
Edward Morris, Lindenwood professor of finance and former dean of the Robert W. Plaster School of Business & Entrepreneurship, will be a featured speaker for Columbia University’s Lehman Center at noon on Feb. 16. Morris will speak about his book, Wall Streeters: The Creators and Corruptors of American Finance, which was published in October 2015.

Lindenwood University’s MFA in Writing Program has been ranked eighth in the nation by Nonprofit Colleges Online among online master’s programs in English and creative writing.

01.27.2016$1,000 ‘Like No Other’ Grant Available
Lindenwood University has announced a new $1,000 'Like No Other' Grant for prospective resident students who submit their signed enrollment and financial aid agreements by June 1, 2016. The grant is an incentive for incoming undergraduate applicants to complete the fall semester enrollment process early.

President Michael Shonrock has announced that Dr. Michael Mason is assuming the role of chaplain on the Lindenwood University St. Charles campus. He will also assume the Butler Religion Chair, a position that was endowed at the university in 1917.

01.18.2016Fine and Performing Arts to Merge with Communications
Two of Lindenwood University’s highly-regarded schools – Communications and Fine and Performing Arts – are joining forces and merging to become the School of Arts, Media, and Communications. The merger is effective in August.

For the third straight year, Lindenwood University’s online bachelor’s degree programs have been ranked among the best in the nation for 2016 by the prestigious U.S. News and World Report.

Lindenwood University President Michael D. Shonrock has selected Dan Grigg as Vice President for Development. Grigg starts his new position on February 1.
