Admission to Lindenwood University in addition to the School of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences.
All general education and pre-requisite courses must be completed prior to the last semester of nursing courses.
The student will be awarded 35 credit hours for associate degree nursing upon transfer to Lindenwood University.
The student must hold an unencumbered, current RN license in the state in which he/she is practicing.
The basic nursing degree must be from a State Board approved and NLNAC accredited school of nursing.
A cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above on a 4.0 scale from the basic school of nursing and any additional college coursework is required.
You must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 with a 3.0 in nursing courses in order to graduate.
You must complete a criminal background check and provide evidence of negative urine drug screen, CPR certification, and the following immunizations:
Tetanus shot in the last 10 years.
Written documentation of 2 Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) vaccination or Rubella titer.
Written documentation of Rubeola titer.
Written documentation of Hepatitis B 3 shot series vaccination or written documentation of a positive Hepatitis B antibody titer.
Written documentation of a flu shot within the past year.
Written documentation of a negative PPD test or record of a positive PPD, and an official chest x-ray report within the past 1 year.
Varicella (Chicken Pox) – 2 doses of the vaccine or evidence of having had the disease.
