The Bachelor of Science degree in Biology requires the completion of 75-76 hours of course work consisting of the following courses:

BIO 304, Cell Biology (4),
BIO 308, Genetics (4),
BIO 320, Plant Biology (4),
BIO 324, Animal Biology (4),
BIO 362, Advanced Environmental Biology (4)

OR

BIO 365, General Ecology (4),
BIO 464, Evolution (3),
BIO 490 Biology Seminar (1),
BIO 491, Senior Synthesis (2),
plus 10 semester hours of Biology focus electives selected from the following areas:
Plant Biology, Molecular Biology/Biochemistry and Ecology/Environmental Biology.

Also required are:

CHM 261, General Chemistry I Laboratory (2),
