What is the Lindenwood Participant Pool?

The Lindenwood Participant Pool (LPP) was established in the fall of 2002 to help researchers recruit voluntary participants for their projects and to provide students who are part of the LPP the opportunity to earn bonus points toward their participating GE-level courses in anthropology, psychology, and sociology.

Students who are enrolled in a LPP participating course can earn bonus points by either taking part in research projects approved by the Lindenwood University Institutional Review Board (IRB) or by engaging in an alternate writing activity through the LPP.

The LPP can be utilized to recruit voluntary participants by any researcher whose study has obtained IRB approval from Lindenwood University and who has passed the LPP quiz pertaining to research ethics and LPP procedures.
