Pre-Medicine/Pre-Veterinary Medicine/PreDentisry/Pre-Optomtry
The majority of the health professions schools expect the student to have earned a bachelor’s degree and to meet the following minimum course requirements:

| Organic Chemistry | 2 Semesters |
| General Physics | 2 Semesters |
| English | 2 Semesters |
In addition, students must complete an entrance test such as MCAT, GRE, DAT, or OAT.
A few health professions schools either require or strongly recommend that students take other courses in the following area of study: biochemistry, cell/molecular biology, genetics, statistics, calculus, humanities, and social science.
