Student Learning Outcomes reflect the desired results from a given learning experience. Faculty members in the Psychology Program collectively determined five SLOs to integrate into the assessment process for the purpose of measuring if; in fact, students are learning what they are expected to learn. SLOs are also important to the process of curriculum development and teaching strategies.
1: Students will demonstrate effective communication skills.
2: Students will demonstrate critical thinking skills.
3: Students will demonstrate research literacy.
4. Students will demonstrate awareness of key ethical issues in Psychology.
5: Students will demonstrate proficiency in knowledge of key content in Psychology.
