Student Organizations

There are five student organizations associated with the School of Sport, Recreation, and Exercise Sciences.  Participation in student organizations is strongly encouraged to enhance the skills and knowledge being taught in the classroom.

Campus YMCA
This organization provides community service opportunities in student-led programs that serve the LU community as well as St. Charles through collaborative partnerships.

LU Student Athletic Training Organization (LUSATO)
The Lindenwood University Student Athletic Trainers Organization is focused on further involving students interested in the Athletic Training profession. We aim to support the athletic training program, the athletics department, and Lindenwood as a whole.

Nutrition Club
This organization strives to provide all students and athletes with a better understanding of daily nutrition in order to promote a healthier lifestyle.

Outdoor Adventure Tribe (OAT)
The Outdoor Adventure Tribe (OAT) is dedicated to pursuing adventurous opportunities ranging from hiking, biking, climbing, camping, building massive fires (with fire permits of course!), and most of all-embracing the adventure of the outdoors!  Come and get your OATs!

X-Sci
Exercise Science Student Organization will continue the Lindenwood University values in "development of the whole person" by focusing on the fitness and conditioning of the students, supporting community-based health functions, educating students and staff, and developing unity among students.
