First Year Programs - New Student Experience
   
The Office of First~Year Programs is committed to providing new students with the support and resources needed to have a successful transition to Lindenwood University. All new Undergraduate Day Spring 2010 students must attend the New Student Experience. This program is designed to meet the needs of new and transfer student. We recognize that you may be familiar with a college or university environment; however we want you to obtain a solid understanding about Lindenwood University.

When is NSE?
This event is held January 23, 2010. The schedule is listed below. All events will be held in the Spellmann Center.

9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. -- Check-In (required)
12:00 – 1:00 p.m. -- Brunch (optional)
   (free for students; guests $7.50/person)
1:00 – 3:30 p.m. -- NSE Program


I will be living on campus, when will I move into my residence hall?
You will move into your room on Saturday, January 23rd between 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

I will already be here for J-Term, do I have to attend?

Yes. You still must check-in to obtain your NSE material and attend the program.

I am a commuter, do I have to attend?
Yes, all new undergraduate day (new and transfer) students must attend. If you will be a commuter student, I recommend checking in between 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

When will I register for classes?
You will register for classes during the NSE as well as make any changes to your schedule.

Can my parents/guardians attend?
There is not a separate program for Parents/Guardians to attend. They may attend the NSE program with their student.

Do I have to register for TE?
Yes, you will receive additional information about the program soon and you must return the registration form as soon as possible.

Reminder: Have all official transcript(s) sent to Admissions.
