Behavior Analysis
The Behavior Analysis (ABA) program has been accepted into the Tier One Accreditation process by the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI). This prestigious recognition reflects a commitment to academic excellence, rigorous training, and adherence to the highest standards in behavior analysis education. Being part of the Tier One Accreditation pursuit demonstrates that the program meets the stringent criteria set forth by ABAI, and positions LU among institutions leading the advancement of ABA education. Faculty from COEHS are currently completing the steps toward full accreditation and look forward to the approval of the self-study and site visits by expert reviewers soon.

Business and Entrepreneurship
Lindenwood University's course-based Business programs (including our daytime BA and evening MBA Plus programs) are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs accreditation. ACBSP is a specialized accreditation association for business education supporting, celebrating, and rewarding teaching excellence. “The association embraces the virtues of teaching excellence and believes that scholarly research and inquiry activities facilitate improved teaching.” This specialized accreditation is in addition to our current accreditation with Higher Learning Commission (Excerpts from ACBSP Gateway). LU course-based Business programs received initial accreditation in 2010, reaffirmation in 2021, with the next reaffirmation in 2031.

Chemistry
Lindenwood University students earning the B.S. in chemistry degree will carry an American Chemical Society accreditation. Lindenwood University’s chemistry program is the only one in the St. Louis area without a graduate degree program in chemistry to hold ACS accreditation.

Lindenwood's Counseling, K-12 School Emphasis and Psychological Examiner Certificate Programs are accredited by CAEP and by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. The Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program is CACREP-aligned and the application for CACREP accreditation is currently 'in process' per the CACREP website.
