Lindenwood University’s Student Academic Showcase, one of the final events of the 2022-23 academic year, was held in April. During the event, students from all academic colleges displayed their creative flair and research – from presenting original research to discussing exploratory projects – with their peers, faculty, and staff.

For the third consecutive year, Lindenwood University’s online MBA has been ranked as the top program in the state of Missouri by Fortune Education.

Needing a university that offers a master’s degree in school counseling to partner with, the Southwest Center for Educational Excellence linked up with Lindenwood University and applied for a $4.2 million Mental Health Professional Demonstration Grant.

Three Lindenwood University students presented and earned awards and honors at the 2023 Alpha Chi National Convention from March 30-April 1 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Associate professor of sports management in the Plaster College of Business and Entrepreneurship Dr. Dan Sweeney was named St. Louis City SC stadium public address announcer in February following a short stay in the same role with City2, the reserve team of St. Louis City SC.

Lindenwood University President Dr. John Porter awarded Rickey Whittington with an honorary doctoral degree April 18 at the Lindenwood House. The degree is a symbol of Lindenwood’s gratitude for Whittington’s philanthropic efforts within the community focused on uplifting underserved students and other marginalized members of society.

In 2005, Lindenwood University celebrated its first Lindy Awards show – an annual spring event that highlights the work of students in the communications department, including Mane Media and KCLC Radio.

Dan Lauer is bringing his wealth of knowledge to Lindenwood University. Lauer was named Chief Entrepreneurship Officer of Plaster College of Business and Entrepreneurship and joined the Lindenwood community May 1.

Lindenwood University will host its Spring 2023 Commencement ceremonies Friday, May 5, and Saturday, May 6, at Hyland Performance Arena.
