Public Health Student Selected to Share College Experience with Future Missouri Students

Public health student Rosa Rodriguez was selected as one of ten students across Missouri to participate in the Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development Journey to College Student Ambassador program. Rodriguez joined the other student ambassadors on April 23 in Jefferson City for a day-long workshop meeting.

Research and Creative Works Shine at Student Academic Showcase

A culminating event of the 2021-22 academic year, Lindenwood University’s Student Academic Showcase displayed research and creative works from more than 60 students. Spanning all academic colleges and a variety of disciplines, students presented original research, led creative talks, and discussed exploratory projects with faculty, staff, and fellow students.

Online Computer Networking Degree Ranked Ninth

In the digital age, Esports has boomed. High schools have clubs and competitive teams, and students can join teams at the university level for athletic scholarships. Lindenwood has their own Esports team, and the Exercise Science department is getting in on the action.

“I keep coming back to a line by Captain Kirk in Star Trek V: ‘it was there,’” stated Dr. Nicholas Wintz, Associate Professor of Mathematics at the College of Science, Technology, and Health at Lindenwood University regarding his inspiration for working on dynamic equations on time scales.

Lindenwood Pursues Nursing Program Approval

Lindenwood University President Dr. John Porter announced that the University intends to seek approvals to begin a nursing program in Fall 2024. The program is pending approval from the state, specialized accrediting agencies, Board of Nursing, and the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). The proposed program has received approval and endorsement from internal faculty committees and the University’s Board of Trustees.

Four Academic Colleges Guide Lindenwood's Future

Lindenwood University proudly transitions from six academic schools to four academic colleges beginning July 1, 2021. This restructure allows for alignment of like-minded scholars and align with the University’s strategic plan, set to be rolled out in early fall.
