Lindenwood University will hold its spring commencement ceremonies on Friday, May 7 and Saturday, May 8 at the Family Arena in St. Charles.
Spring into Service Supports Community
Lindenwood University held its annual Spring into Service day on April 24, organized by Student Involvement. Student and employee volunteers contributed more than 400 hours of service towards projects benefitting the community and giving back in meaningful ways.
Students Gain Research Experience Participating in Student Assessment Scholars Program
The Student Assessment Scholars Program is an internship course offered to Lindenwood University students. This course gives students the opportunity to participate in research in a way that gives them real-world experience. Kaitlyn Maxwell is the coordinator for the Student Assessment Scholars Program. She has students who truly recognize the value of what they learn in the program. She has stated that many students who participate are thankful for what this experience brings to their resume.
Fall 2021 Plans Announced
Lindenwood University is planning for the Fall 2021 semester. As cases on campus and in the St. Charles community continue to decline and while vaccine rollout continues, the University is planning for the following.

Recognizing International Student’s Efforts in Coping With COVID-19
If there is one thing that Lindenwood University must be recognized for, it is their international students’ efforts in coping with COVID-19. It is a well-known fact that Lindenwood has a considerable amount of international students on their campus. Lindenwood has the highest international student body population (13%) in comparison to two other universities in the state of Missouri: University of Missouri – Columbia and St. Louis University, both with an international student body of approximately 6%.
Career Services Office Encourages Professional Growth with Career & Internship Fair
Lindenwood University is consistently making great strides in providing opportunities that prepare students for success, including having a dedicated team in The Career Services Office. Career Services operates out of the Library and Academic Resources Center (LARC) and provides support for students as they learn how to transition the knowledge they have gained here at LU into a successful, enjoyable career.

Lindenwood’s community outreach endeavor, LindenGiving, partnered with Five Acres Animal Shelter for the February initiative. Led by Beverly Porter, LindenGiving strives to give back to the local St. Charles community in immediate and impactful ways.
