A senior psychology major and social sciences minor at Lindenwood University, Gutierrez is part of a research team whose submission accepted for the 2023 International Convention of Psychological Science from March 9-11 in Brussels, Belgium.
LindenGiving showers neighbors with love on Valentine’s Day
Cedarhurst of St. Charles residents were showered with love on Valentine’s Day. Lindenwood University partnered with the senior living community campus for a LindenGiving event. Established in 2020, LindenGiving is a community outreach endeavor focused on serving the most essential needs of the St. Charles community.
Atlantic Records Artist Elkins Visits Lindenwood’s KCLC Radio Station
During his visit to campus, Elkins recorded four songs, including “Hands To Myself” with Music Business and Entrepreneurship students in Professor Adam Donohue’s music production practicum.
Dr. Daniel Kirk Named Dean, College of Education and Human Services
Dr. Daniel Kirk was selected as the University’s next Dean of the College of Education and Human Services, according to a statement from Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Bethany Alden-Rivers. Dr. Kirk will begin his duties July 24.
Kerksick Presents Case Study with Crossfit Games Champion
The Director of Exercise and Performance Nutrition Laboratory at Lindenwood University, Dr. Chad Kerksick and his research team, participated in a microbiome case study of 28-year-old Australian CrossFit champion Tia-Claire Toomey. And the results were published worldwide at the 2023 IPA World Congress + Probiota event in February in Barcelona, where speakers from academia and regulators were brought together to share their insights and experiences.
Kayla Meyer wins Richard S. and Nelle Dabney Merit Award
Senior Kayla Meyer joined an elite group. A student teacher at Lindenwood, Meyer received the Richard S. and Nelle Dabney Merit Award for Missouri, which recognizes those working in special education.
Lindenwood Education System Acquires Dorsey College
Lindenwood Education System, the non-profit parent entity of Lindenwood University, has completed its acquisition of Dorsey College, a nationally accredited institution that provides career-focused education in the healthcare, skilled trades, culinary arts, emergency medical services, and beauty and wellness fields.
