Lindenwood University has again been named to the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society’s Transfer Honor Roll for 2022. PTK recognizes the institutional commitment and resources available at Lindenwood to support transfer students.
This year, Lindenwood is recognized as one of more than 170 institutions named to the Transfer Honor Roll. Colleges were selected based on a Transfer Friendliness Rating, determined by each institution’s transfer profile found in PTK Connect, Phi Theta Kappa’s online tool that helps students find their best-fit colleges.
“This award is so important because it is based on what students tell us they need from their transfer experience,” Phi Theta Kappa's President and CEO, Dr. Lynn Tincher-Ladner said.
“We are honored to recognize the colleges and universities working exceptionally hard to create stronger pathways to bachelor’s degree completion for all students.”
“We feel extremely grateful to be named for the second year in a row to the 2022 Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Honor Roll for being a recognized institution for our transfer friendliness. We value our transfer students and take pride in ensuring their experience at Lindenwood is memorable and meaningful,” Assistant Director of Transfer Admissions Cayte Billman said. “We also want to recognize our current students who were Phi Theta Kappa members because they have shown a continued effort toward academic success at LU.”
Lindenwood University upholds its commitment to supporting transfer students and students pursuing a four-year degree upon completion of their associate degree. The University has established several Bridge Scholarship programs, providing a pathway and financial resources to support student degree completion at Lindenwood.
