Dr. Jennifer Mack Selected as Dean

On Wednesday, February 8, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Bethany Alden-Rivers announced the selection of Dr. Jennifer Mack to serve as the Dean of the Plaster College of Business and Entrepreneurship. Mack was selected after a comprehensive national search and brings outstanding leadership and dedication to the role.

“From the beginning of the search process, we were focused on finding an experienced academic leader who could think strategically and work collaboratively to position the Plaster College of Business and Entrepreneurship at the forefront of business and entrepreneurship education in our region,” Alden-Rivers said. “Throughout the interview process, Dr. Mack demonstrated that she is the right choice for this position. Personally speaking, I am thrilled to continue working with Jennifer as the permanent Dean of the College, and I cannot wait to see all that she and her team will accomplish together.”

Mack joined the Lindenwood community in 2010 and has served in various roles at the University including department head, assistant dean, associate dean, and most recently, interim dean. Prior to joining Lindenwood, Mack served three years as a department chair at Eastern Oklahoma State College. Before starting her academic career, Mack spent six years working as a senior accountant for a communications corporation and as an accountant in the oil and gas industry.

Mack holds a PhD in Applied Management and Decision Sciences from Walden University; a Master of General Education with a focus on Accounting, and a BS Accounting, both from the University of Central Oklahoma.
