Lindenwood University’s Digital Repository Surpasses 1 Million Downloads

Lindenwood University is proud to announce that its digital institutional repository, Digital Commons @ Lindenwood University, has surpassed an extraordinary milestone: one million downloads. Since its inception in May 2021, the repository has become a vital resource for researchers, students, and scholars worldwide.

As part of the Lindenwood University Library, Digital Commons @ Lindenwood University serves as a digital hub for preserving and sharing the university’s rich scholarly and historical materials. Currently hosting more than 17,500 pieces of content—including theses, dissertations, faculty and student scholarship, historic documents, photographs, podcasts, journals, and books—the repository reflects Lindenwood’s commitment to advancing research and preserving its institutional legacy.

Over the past three years, downloads have originated from over 11,700 institutions spanning more than 200 countries and regions. This remarkable global engagement underscores the universal appeal and significance of the materials housed within Digital Commons @ Lindenwood University.
