Lindenwood University has been recognized as an inaugural recipient of the 2021 St. Charles County Healthy Workplace Award. The award was presented by Community Strong and the Economic Development Council, and honors employers who advocate for healthy habits in the workplace. To qualify, organizations must adhere to a stringent list of workplace wellness initiatives.

Director of Employee Benefits, Candace Terry, shared Lindenwood’s excitement in receiving this recognition. “Lindenwood University and the LindenWell team are thrilled to receive recognition for all of the hard work our employees have dedicated to their health and wellness,” she said. “We are honored for the opportunity to receive the St. Charles County Workplace Wellness Award.”

Lindenwood University’s employee wellness program, LindenWell, strives to generate enthusiasm and cultivate excitement about personal health and wellness. The program offers monthly challenges to encourage healthier lifestyles and provides education and tools to assist in improving employee well-being.
