Lindenwood University has been named to the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society’s Transfer Honor Roll for 2021. PTK recognizes the institutional commitment and resources available at Lindenwood to support transfer students.
This year, Lindenwood is recognized as one of 150 institutions named to the Transfer Honor Roll. Colleges were selected based on a Transfer Friendliness Rating, determined by each institution’s transfer profile found in PTK Connect, Phi Theta Kappa’s online tool that helps students find their best-fit colleges.
“The Transfer Honor Roll reflects the growing importance of recognizing and responding to the needs of transfer students,” Phi Theta Kappa's President and CEO, Dr. Lynn Tincher-Ladner, said. “This award is given to four-year colleges and universities with proven outcomes for transfer success. They are the best at providing a supportive and smooth transition from community college—equating to increased rates of bachelor’s degree attainment for transfer students.”
“We are thrilled and honored to be named to the 2021 Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Honor’s Roll as a recognized institution for our transfer friendliness,” said Cayte Billman, assistant director of transfer admissions. “Prospective students that are members of Phi Theta Kappa are given additional scholarship opportunities here, in recognition for their academic excellence. We welcome any student to consider Lindenwood as an option when looking at four-year institutions.”
Lindenwood University continues its commitment to supporting transfer students and students pursuing a four-year degree upon completion of their associate degree. In the last year, Lindenwood has signed transfer agreements with St. Charles Community College and Mineral Area College providing a pathway and scholarship resources to support student enrollment at Lindenwood.
Lindenwood University is currently accepting applications for transfer students and is offering personalized campus visits for prospective students. For more information, or to schedule a visit, please contact Cayte Billman by emailing cbillman@lindenwood.edu or calling (636) 949-4946.
