Associate Professor of Psychology, Dr. Stephanie Afful, was the keynote speaker at the University of New England’s Center of Teaching & Learning’s annual event.

“Given all of the pedagogical pivots we as instructors engaged in the last year, it was even more important to re-focus the keynote and workshop on inclusive teaching; to address the question of how to reach all our students in the multiple formats we teach in,” said Afful. “The timing was perfect- while our courses are fresh in our minds, it is time to reflect and plan for the radical possibilities of next semester.”

Afful’s presentation and workshop focused on the application of inclusive teaching principles for faculty and academic support staff at the University of New England, and incorporated strategies for instruction, engagement and assessment.
